Mental Health First Aider
Course Duration: 2 days.
Where: At your location or available as an open course – ask about dates.
Teaching delegates about:
- Teaching how to respond, listen and cope with someone in crisis
- Support positive wellbeing
- Knowledge to help someone to recovery – guiding towards further support
- Recognising signs of mental ill health
- Enhanced personal skills, including how to listen non-judgmentally
- Topics include: Depression, Bipolar disorder, Eating disorders, Suicide, Anxiety, Stress, Substance dependency, psychosis, self harm, personality disorders
- This 2-day course is accredited through MHFA England.
- On successful completion the delegates will be awarded a certificate which has a duration of 3 years.
